It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Club Captain, Luke Heywood. Luke was more than just a member of the Mandurah Surf Life Saving Club; he was a cherished friend, a mentor, and a beacon of dedication and kindness.

Venue: Bowra & O’Dea Chapel

Address: 460 Pinjarra Road, Greenfields

Luke's contributions to the club were countless. Whether he was maintaining our facilities, coaching surf sports, advocating for our youth, or leading with bounding enthusiasm and commitment, he always gave his heart and soul. Luke also played a pivotal role in launching our club merchandise store, with Small Merch Co, his family business, supplying the gear we proudly wear today.

To honor Luke’s incredible legacy, our March club member social will be held in his memory—"Luke’s Sundowner." This gathering will be a special time for our members to come together, share our fondest memories, and celebrate the incredible impact Luke had on our club.
